Space Club
Space Club is an informal K-8 STEM program developed by Vivify co-founder Natasha Wilkerson.
Story of Space Club
Natasha's journey began as an engineer for the Department of Defense, but her passion for education led her to a new mission: bringing the wonders of space exploration to students. As the STEM Director at Communities In Schools of San Antonio, she dedicated six years to delivering immersive space STEM programs to underserved middle schools, reaching over 1,200 students.
In 2020, Space Club expanded when they received a NASA grant to develop the Educator’s Portal, an
online training and resource hub that allows educators to bring Space Club to their schools.
By 2023, Natasha took the next giant leap, founding the Cosmic Leap Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to growing and sustaining these efforts. Today, thousands of educators across the globe are running their own versions of Space Club, and each year, teams join the annual international Space Colony Competition.
Now it’s your turn! Bring the excitement of space exploration to your students and transform your classroom into a hub of astronauts and engineers. Get ready for an epic adventure filled with collaboration, problem-solving, design, and innovation.
