STEM Explorers
Grades: 2 - 5
Pack your bags and take your students on a voyage of STEM challenges that incorporate the engineering design process with themed activities from countries around the world. This STEM curriculum includes activities that travel to each continent and explore inventions and feats of engineering from places such as ancient Egypt and Antarctica! Explore STEM career connections, ice breaker activities, and math extension problems that are all included in each complete lesson.
Alphabet STEM
Grades: PreK - Kindergarten
Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and STEM Career Activities for the letters A through Z! These activities emphasize kindergarten readiness in the areas of math and science. The focus of this curriculum is to develop Stage 1 STEM skills and awareness of real-world STEM concepts and careers. This bundle includes activities for each letter of the alphabet!
From building the tallest tower of index cards to flying a paper airplane, stage one STEM challenges are the most foundational activities. These challenges do not have an obvious connection to math and science concepts, and at first, may seem like superficial activities. However, they are important primary activities that serve to build a foundation of skills in problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and grit.

Stage 2 incorporates the design process and can be structured around themes or units of study. Vivify has several complete curriculum sets focused on teaching engineering design with real-world connections. Another option is to build a unit of challenges around a science theme such as life, space, or physical science. We also recommend adding a few fun seasonal STEM activities during the holidays. Stage 3 projects expand on the Stage 2 design process to tackle an open-ended project that mimics a real-world scenario. Plan a STEM Family Night
STEM Family Nights are awesome! They generate excitement for STEM in your school and community by allowing students, teachers, and families to explore STEM together. We have planned 150+ STEM Family Nights with thousands of participants, and we put all of our favorite activities in our low-prep family night guide!
