Picture a STEM Professional Critical Thinking Worksheet
Updated: December 27, 2024
Type: STEM Careers
Grade Level: K - 8
This worksheet walks students through thinking about who STEM professionals are. In the spaces provided, students will draw or write about each STEM professional definition given- Scientist, Technologist, Engineer, and Mathematician.
The goal is not only to teach the definition of each STEM professional, but to also encourage acknowledgement and discussion on how there is no “right answer” to what a STEM professional looks like. Anyone can be a STEM professional. Encourage students to think about what each STEM professional does, what tools they may use, or what items they may interact with and to draw themselves in that position.
This activity works well when followed by STEM Career BINGO, found here for K-5 or here for 6-12.
