Basics of STEM Education
Training for K-8th Grade Educators & Administrators
Learn the basics of STEM education including how to design a program using the 3 Stages of STEM. Participants will also learn how to teach the engineering design process, connect 21st century skills, integrate math and science concepts, and relate content to real-world careers and current events. Participants also receive access to 2 STEM lesson plans.
Duration: 90 minutes up to 2 day workshop
Engaging Students with STEM Careers
Training for K-12th Grade Educators, Administrators, Parents
Learn the basics of real-world STEM including engineering and science careers. Session covers how to connect student interests to STEM pathways, activities that promote interest in STEM, and strategies to integrate real-world careers and events. Participants also receive access 2 STEM career activities.
Duration: 90 minutes
Training for K-12th Grade Educators, Administrators, Parents
Learn the nuts and bolts of planning and hosting a school-wide STEM Family Night. Participants receive a STEM Family Night planning guide, instructions for 20 STEM activities, editable marketing materials, and event handouts to easily implement your own event!
Duration: 60 - 120 minutes
